Robert is a former chairman of the Lake Pocotopaug Commission and a resident since 1983. Bob's educational and professional experience started with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Robert is currently the Strategic Technology Development Manager at Gilbarco/Veeder-Root. His 38-year professional career has been in engineering, primarily in the development of environmental monitoring technologies and as a liaison with governmental regulatory agencies. His environmental, mathematics and statistical analysis skills led to major advances and contributions to California’s vehicle fueling industry’s high air quality monitoring standards in use today.

Why I'm Running

Everett “Dick” Breece is a lifetime resident of East Hampton and has lived in Middle Haddam for the past 50 years. He graduated from primary and high school in East Hampton and attended the University of Connecticut after completing a three-year apprenticeship at UTC.

Everett is a former two-term Town Selectman (R); he also served as a member of the Board of Finance. Everett retired in 2004 after 31 years as a Production Control and Purchasing Manager.

Why I'm Running

Irene, a current member of the Conservation-Lake Commission, and a long-time resident, was a System Software Support Engineer and worked in IT for CIGNA before retiring after 27 years. Irene is currently a System Software Support Engineer at Citizens Financial Group. Irene and her husband live on the shores of Lake Pocotopaug and have two adults sons.
