Kyle Dostaler - Town Council
Your Vote
Ask yourself, what is this election in East Hampton about?
In my opinion, this election is about the issues – better roads, small town quality of life, economic development done right, more library, senior and parks and recreation services, making sure that our school system is the best that it can be. It’s about fixing things. It’s about making our town better.
It’s about prioritizing our taxpayer dollars more wisely and balancing what we need with what we can afford. It’s about proposing realistic initiatives and setting achievable goals.
To me, this election is about a person’s character - not character assassination.
This election is about electing candidates who can set a clear direction for the town. It’s about new ideas replacing old ones. It’s about electing candidates who will speak out to challenge the status quo.
When it comes to decision making at the town council table, decisions should not be made based upon party lines; they should be made based upon facts with shared and accurate information.
This election is about electing people who can demonstrate strong leadership. Too many leaders treat their leadership role as a vanity exercise. The best leaders understand that if a job gets done well, credit will come to those who accomplish their goals. The best leaders don’t pursue credit just for themselves; they share it generously and often.
Most importantly, this election is about the future of East Hampton and accomplishing what needs to be done for our community. It’s not about “outsiders” or “insiders” or “good old boys”, it’s about you - the voter.
On November 3rd Vote Row “C” for your community and for the people who can best represent your interests.
